DRYLAND TRAINING & GUIDELINES
Dryland training is a vital component of the Gators' comprehensive training program, although optional, we strongly encourage swimmers to register for it if it's on the schedule. These sessions are designed to support the multisport development of each athlete and should be prioritized equally alongside swim practices.
It is hoped that all swimmers register and participate in the scheduled dryland sessions. Consistent attendance ensures a balanced approach to physical conditioning and contributes meaningfully to overall athletic growth.
For swimmers who are actively engaged in another structured sport, participation in dryland may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In such instances, we encourage families to consult directly with their swimmer’s squad coach(es) to determine whether full, partial, or modified participation is appropriate.
